MINNESOTA SWEEP AT CLUB NATIONALS
7/23/2018 - Last weekend, Minnesota Development Camp took home several medals at USRowing Club National Championships. Minnesota dominated the Int. Men's Lwt. 2- with Connor Lund ('18) and Alexander Martin ('18) claiming the gold medal and becoming national champions for the first time. Sean Tardrew ('20) and Keiran Peers ('21) followed closely behind, earning a silver medal. Combined, the four athletes entered in the Int. Men's Lwt. 4+ with Rebecca Sedivy, earning a bronze medal.
Former Gopher, Doug McCune-Zierath, also competed at Club National Championships with the USA World University team. He competed in the Elite Men's 8+ seated four seat, earning a gold medal and the fastest time on the race course. Stay tuned for a personal interview with Doug and his future endeavors!
