Join us throughout the day to cheer on the team at the Head of the Mississippi Regatta. Stop by the hospitality tent for food, brats, refreshments, and plenty of stories with teammates, alumni, family, and friends.

Watch the Men's (Open/Collegiate) 8+ race and cheer on the Minnesota Men's Crew alumni who are competing.

Alumni are encouraged to race in the Head of the Mississippi Regatta! We're also hoping to organize a short alumni paddle row following the races for those who would rather enjoy a relaxed row than the full 4,800-meter course.

The Annual Reunion & Hall of Fame Induction begins in the hospitality tent. Dinner is included, and beer and wine will be available for purchase.

This year's Hall of Fame class honors the 1980 Varsity Four, winners of the Dad Vail Championship. Along with the 1980 Lightweight crew, they were the first Minnesota crews to capture this prestigious title.

1980 Varsity Four – Dad Vail Champions

This year's Hall of Fame Induction honors the 1980 Varsity Four. This crew won the 1980 Dad Vail Varsity Four Championship, the first Dad Vail championship in Minnesota Men's Crew history. Their victory marked the beginning of an extraordinary era, launching a run of 16 Dad Vail championships over 22 years, which also included a championship by the 1980 Lightweight Four.

1980 was a foundational year for Minnesota Men's Crew, laying the groundwork and establishing the expectations of excellence that have shaped our program ever since.

To help offset the cost of the reunion dinner and hospitality tent, the Friends of Minnesota Men's Crew suggests a $20 donation per attendee. Your support helps make this annual reunion possible while also directly supporting Minnesota Men's Crew and our student-athletes throughout the year.
