Annual gifts are spent; an endowment lasts. We're building a permanent fund for Minnesota Men's Crew, with a goal of $500,000 by 2030. At that size its income could buy a new racing eight every two years and keep the cost of rowing from landing on student dues.

Other ways to give. Checks payable to Friends of Minnesota Men's Crew Club, Inc. with "Endowment Fund" in the memo. Gifts of stock, donor-advised fund grants, employer matches, and bequests or beneficiary designations are welcome too. Contact the Friends board to arrange them.

The Forward 50
Full community buy-in is what builds an endowment — steady monthly gifts that compound, not one large check. The Forward 50 are the first fifty people to start a recurring gift toward the goal, at any amount. Their names stay here permanently, whether or not the gift continues.
